Founder & Managing Director

From Curious Kid to Founder

Some people discover their passion early. For me, it was the computer — and the question of what happens behind what you see on the screen. As a child, I wasn't just interested in how technology works, but in where its limits lie. That curiosity became the driving force behind everything that followed.

Early Ventures & a Path Through IT

My first entrepreneurial step came in 2010 — hosting game servers. Small, but full of lessons. In 2012, I launched a file-hosting service with a clear focus on privacy, at a time when the topic received far less public attention than it does today. That focus on data protection wasn't coincidental — it reflects a mindset that has stayed with me ever since.

Alongside that, I deepened my technical expertise in cyber security, conducting penetration tests for companies. I analysed systems for vulnerabilities before others could exploit them — work that demands precision, patience, and the ability to think like an attacker.

Military Service: Discipline, Resilience & a Crucial Realisation

In 2017, I joined the German Armed Forces in the Cyber and Information Domain — one of the most modern and strategically significant branches of the Bundeswehr. What I took away wasn't a line on a résumé, but a mindset: resilience, structured thinking under pressure, and the ability to keep a clear head in difficult situations.

At the same time, I realised that rigid structures and slow decision-making processes were not the environment in which I could develop my best ideas. In 2019, I made the decision to leave — not because I had failed, but because I had understood where I truly belong: building something of my own.

The Detour That Wasn't a Detour

After leaving the military, I pursued an ambitious project: an online magazine with a carefully crafted brand identity. The project taught me a great deal about branding, partnerships, and the importance of having the right people around you. It didn't succeed — but it sharpened my understanding of where my real strengths lie: technology, product development, and creative concept work. Journalism was not my calling. Knowing that is worth as much as any success.

Peakvelop: The Deliberate Decision

All of these experiences — the technical depth from the security world, the discipline from military service, the brand awareness from the magazine project — converged into one decision: to develop games and apps that bring people lasting joy.

In 2025, Peakvelop® was officially registered as an independent umbrella brand. Peakvelop stands for high-quality, cross-platform games and applications — for browser, mobile, and PC. Not mass-market products, not quick wins, but thoughtfully crafted experiences built to a high standard.

Family, Reality & the Long Game

Honesty is part of how I approach entrepreneurship: the founding phase didn't follow a textbook timeline. A growing family and the reality of everyday life pushed certain milestones back. That's not a flaw — that's life. And it sharpened my focus: quality over speed. Sustainability over short-termism.

My Vision

I want to build games and apps with a small, tight-knit team — products that don't fade from memory after a week. Things worth recommending. Experiences that are simply well thought through, regardless of age or platform.

Peakvelop is not a corporation and has no ambition to become one. But it will be a brand that people trust — and look forward to hearing from with every new release.

I don't build products for the market. I build things I would have waited for myself.
